Russian A-level: 2.2. Музыка - оркестры (политическая и художественная культура)
This resource was developed as a complimentary material towards subtopic 2.2 - музыка, цирк, балет - of A-level Edexcel Russian Specification.
It discusses the state of classical music in modern Russia and specifically covers orchestras. Students will learn about the most famous orchestras, the names of their directors and conductors, classical music festivals and will practise essential vocabulary and answer comprehension questions to ensure understanding and practise speaking on the topic.
5 pages of text and 4 exercises for each chapter of the text.
The worksheet is developed in line with Edexcel A-level Russian specification but is appropriate for anyone learning Russian at B1-B2 level.
