With 20 pages including: punctuation, parts of a sentence, nouns, adjectives for characters and settings, verbs, adverbs, synonyms for overused words, conjunctions, reading comprehension questions for parents and teachers, plus a writing checklist for children to self assess.
Each page has clear examples for how to use the Punctuation, Grammar and Vocabulary.
This resource can be printed and bound as a Flipchart or a Book.
Children can focus on one target or several. If their target is to use more adverbs in their writing they use the contents page to find out what page the adverbs are on and flick to that page. Then they can choose a suitable and more interesting adverb to put into their writing.
Though this resource was originally intended to support KS1 students, after I researched all the vocabulary and tested it with several of my KS2 students they also found it very helpful therefore I recommend it for KS2, especially lower abilities.
The Font is OpenDyslexic which has bottom heavy letters to support those students that are visually impaired or have Dyslexia.

Coloured tokens to collect
Excellent for a fun way to revise these important areas of maths and mathematical vocabulary.
The aim of the game is to collect 4 different coloured tokens by answering questions correctly and then get back to the middle of the board. The winner is the first person back to the middle with 1 of each coloured token.
How to Play the short version 15-30minutes 2-4players
1. All players start in the middle of the board. Each player roles the die, the player with the highest number on their die goes first.
2. Players take it in turns to role the die and move to a tile. Then the player must pick a card that is the same colour as the tile they are on and answer the question. If they answer correctly they receive a token matching the colour of the tile. Then they must aim to land on different coloured tiles to collect the other coloured tokens.
3. If a player lands on the tile with a die on it they immediately get another role of the die.
4. Once a player has collected 1 of each coloured token they must get back to the centre of the board to win the game.
How to Play the Longer Version 30-60minutes 2-4players
1. All players start in the middle of the board. Each player roles the die, the player with the highest number on their die goes first.
2. Players take it in turns to role the die and move to a tile. Then they take a card with the matching colour and answer the question. If they answer correctly they can stay there but if they answer incorrectly they must move back to their previous position.
3. If a player lands on the tile with a die on it they immediately get another role of the die.
4. When a player lands on the larger tiles in the corners of the board they must answer a question just like on other tiles however if they are correct they receive a matching coloured token. Once a player has collected all 4 coloured tokens (1 from each corner of the board) they must return to the centre of the board to win the game!
Other Ways to Use the Cards!
With 270 question cards there are many ways you could use them without the board!
If you have lessons focusing on Fractions (Red), Measurements (Green), Word Problems (Yellow) or Mental Maths (Blue) you can use only the specific set of cards for students to solve in groups, pairs or individually for morning activities, lesson starters, main activity or extensions.
With so many flexible options this bundle you will love it!
There are 6 different percentages that can be matched with fractions for lower abilities (Year 2 and 3) and then there are decimals that can be used with higher abilities and KS2 students.
There is also 2 pages to choose from for the reverse side. One option is the shapes so children can check there answers independently because the 100%, 1/1 and 1.0 will all have a complete square on the reverse. The other option is the basic cover more suitable for memory matching games where students take it in turns to try to find a pair or a set of matching cards.
These are an excellent morning or extension activity that children can use independently or in small groups.
