The use of the deep voice helps children remember how to create their own. Watch as they all start repeating what the deep voice says! Makes teaching arguments and discussion texts very easy. Space Adventure Through Writing Genres
A revision unit on writing genres. Take a trip into space to visit another planet. All through different writing genres. (radio adverts, reports, newspapers, explanations, arguments, complaint letters, instructions etc) Sound included.
Rhyming Grammar Poem
A poem to teach the word meanings of grammar. Get them on their feet reciting and chanting :-> Voice included to help with teaching the rhythm. Common nouns are all around, just go and take a look, a table, chair, a coat, a bag, or empty writing book.
Narrative Flashbacks - Replay Animation

Show Don't Tell Emotion
Phrases that show how the body behaves when displaying emotion. It will get the children showing the emotion in their writing rather than saying it. e.g. He breathed deeply, leaned forward and began banging his fists on the table.

Lots of sentence openers which children can listen to. Great for practising how a sentence sounds or to revise them once learnt. Slightly easier than Toys and Boats. (see TES) Animals is just the theme it was based on and is not important apart from being relevant to the children. Apologies for the voice!
