Students often need these simple reminders when using their Chromebooks in the classroom. This product contains a cover page as well as 16 classroom rule posters. The cover page and 16 rules come with 5 different border styles. These posters are great for a bulletin board or to fill in space around your classroom. Use all or just the ones that apply to your students. Print out and use the rules that apply to your class. If you want any additional rules added, don’t be shy to request them. The current rules in this package: I will keep all food and drinks away from my Chromebook. I will only have the apps and tabs open that my teacher instructs me to. I will mute my Chromebook when I am not wearing headphones. I will always carry my Chromebook with two hands. I keep everything I do kind and appropriate on my Chromebook. I will not set pens, pencils, or anything on my keyboard that can crack my screen. I will not take a picture or video without permission. I will only use the Chromebook with clean hands. I will not walk around the room with the Chromebook. I will keep the Chromebook flat on my desk. I will raise my hand and wait quietly when I need help. I will return the Chromebook to the correct spot. I will plug the Chromebook into the charger when I am done. I will always treat the Chromebook with respect. I will not add or delete apps on the Chromebook. I will share the Chromebook with my friends.

This resource is a great and fun way to discuss New Year traditions around the world. The best way to use it is to show it on a smartboard in “present mode”. The first thing that shows is an image. Have your students try to guess what the tradition is and which country is partaking in the tradition. Just based on an image, your students will have fun trying to guess and come up with traditions. Then when you click on the screen, the country will fade in and then the description of the actual tradition. Locations include; Ireland, Denmark, Mexico, Philippines, Scotland, Ecuador, Germany, Chile, America and South America. You could also print this out and have the students read through as an informative piece. Included is also just image pages. Great to hand out to your students to try to come up with ideas in groups.
