Introductory lessons teaches pupils to use and interpret evidence . KWL activity to discover pupil interests and base knowledge for the topic, Ancient Greece and Ancient Greeks. Jigsaw vase activity with follow up ideas and activities included which is basically looking at the pictures to find out a bit about Ancient Greece and interpreting the evidence. A game I developed to encourage thinking, vocabulary and turn taking/control of impulsivity. The children obviously don't want to should out the opponents words. I made them take turns developing patience too. Useful for speech therapy, social skills, assessment/revision, for work with parents and family therapy and many other contexts. A great wet play game too! Many contexts - I even used it as a staff activity for end of heavy training day. I am a teacher with over 25 years exemplary practice as teacher, advisor and school leader. I am now teaching overseas in an International School in Thailand.
