The activity is to be completed using an animated video clip “The Piano” and addresses the reading objectives of “making inferences” and “how language, structures and presentation contribute to the meaning” It is aimed at upper KS2 but can be adapted for lower years. This writing unit is designed for online (home) learning. It can be uploaded or taught via live sessions. The unit consists of 6 writing tasks: comprehension, vocabulary building, setting description, machinary description, dictation skills,a letter from the Alchemist.
