Set Fire To The Rain - Chords and Lyrics - Adele

(0)
Another Adele song for a class to try out; students can learn structure, major/minor chords as well as beats per bar. Useful for KS4 pupils to try this song in a different genre. If you have any feedback please let me know! If some of the chords are different or sections of the song are missing it's to make the song easier to learn quicker.

Print outs of the bass guitar fretboard for students to use when learning how to play the bass guitar. Useful for class band lessons - students can read the layout to work out which notes they need and evaluate which notes sound 'better'; higher pitch or lower pitch.

Moby timeline of events

Similar to a Lord Of The Rings resource I've uploaded - a map of what happens in Moby's song; laid out in Cubase fashion (numbers on the top are the bars per box) pupils colour in/mark in which instruments are playing in which section (see second page of Word document). It is in the GCSE revision guide but is useful as a starting task on Moby. Any feedback you have would be helpful, thank you!

Mix of audio, visual, written questions and mini essay at the end. Answers on duplicate slides at the end. If you are using it and want to include the audio questions do have a look through the answers to the audio questions as it'll either tell you or give you an idea of when to play the track. Feedback would be great, thanks!

AS Vocal Set Works quiz

A quiz covering the set works by Weelkes, Haydn, Stravinsky, Perkins and Beatles plus some key terms. This is not fully complete as there is an audio section (finding the videos on Youtube) as well as a visual music extract section; I planned to add in a few random bars (in sequence) of a part of each set work for pupils to recognise. This can be easily edited, added to etc. Any feedback would be great, thanks!

Buckley key term matching
s_mcsweeneys_mcsweeney

Buckley key term matching

(0)
A 'Call My Bluff' of Buckley key terms - there are three definitions of certain key terms in Grace. Pupils work out which is the best fit. There are some definitions that pupils can discount straight away; e.g. EQ is not ET's cousin. Other key terms can be used. Useful for a starter for Grace and could be used for a revision aid if the options are harder to discern the difference between.
