This sheet looks at the dates of the 'Viking Age' and can be a reminder of the abbreviation 'AD". Suitable for all ages as a stand alone sheet or part of a wider topic. In the winter time the Vikings would wreathe a wreath filled with holly and berries to celebrate the circle of life, the death and birth and to bring good fortune for the coming year. This tradition is celebrated today in Britain by the placing of a wreath on the front door.
