Trees, Woodland, and Forest Habitats

(0)
A collection of photos from my own adventures as an explorer, that I have curated for my class as part of our woodland module, exploring habitats, plants, and pollination. My students used these photos for their poster and group work, for discussion, presentations, and project work, so I hope your students will enjoy them too. Please leave me a review and I will send you any other resource of your choice for free (contact me: office@oceansproject.com). Advantages of Quarries: Leisure and Tourism

A collection of photos from Capernwray dive centre in Carnforth, Lancashire. The disused quarry is now popular with swimmers (especially training for triathalon and English Channel swims) and scuba divers throughout the year, as well as having changing facilities and a restaurant. Feel free to use these photos with your students as part of your geography lesson on the benefits of quarries as places for leisure and recreation. A collection of photos of the village of Grasmere in the Lake District. The village is a popular place for tourists, and is the former home and place where the poet William Wordsworth is buried. It is also famous for it's secret recipe gingerbread. Students may wish to use these photos as part of projects or presentations or to explore the village through pictures. The Romans: Fundraising Ideas

(0)
This is a hand written resource that I created for my class in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia, so they could raise funds for an expedition they were planning. The theme was the 'Romans' and would help them to work in groups to organise the fundraising events and to raise the budget they needed for their school trip. There are 19 fundraising activities for students, some simple, some requiring a bit more input. Please note that there are some references to our local currency (GEL) and a couple of people or places that we had connections with, but you could easily substitute these for your local currency, people, or places. Please leave me a review and I will send you any other resource of your choice for free (contact me: office@oceansproject.com). Journeys: A Flight Over the Ocean: Transport and Travel: Photo Collection

When you live on a remote British island, the only way to get there is by ship or by plane. This means that islanders take flights much like you probably take a bus, and where you jump in a car, we jump in our plane. There is no hospital, maternity unit, dentist, optician, or physiotherapist on the island so we have to fly for just about everything...even if we die and need to get cremated! Here are some photos from my own flights over the English Channel and between the Channel Islands. See if you can spot the lighthouse and World War Two bunkers below. Business, Law, Writing a Will

(0)
As part of my preparation for my expedition rowing my boat solo around the coast of Britain, I had to write a will and plan what would happen to my educational charity Oceans Project after my death. I thought these photos might be of use to other teachers out there teaching about business or discussing what happens when we die. So I am including them in case you ever need a photo for presentation purposes.
