It could be used from KS2 - KS4 to give students an introductory look at Buddhism including the different types, karma, reincarnation, Eightfold Path, Four Noble Truths, Meditation, Symbols, Founder etc.

This lesson was originally a Yr 9 90 minute lesson but can be any KS3 or KS4 (Ages 11-16) lesson and shortened very easily. It goes through the six main religious beliefs about God and then an introduction to atheism and humanism. It includes a video clip, discussion and written activities, definitions, a quiz and a plenary. Students reacted very well to this lesson and it taught them that you don’t have to have religious beliefs to be a good person.
