A sheet for children to design their puppet before making it. (I have always used a large pipecleaner wrapped around the handle for the arms.)

I have run a shoe design challenge as a team building, business studies and enterprise topic. This sheet is for pupils to first design their trainer before pooling their team ideas on a larger A3 version. I have then given them a cheap plain white lace up gym shoe (small size and just 1 per group) to design a prototype with Sharpies they then market and advertise. Think Apprentice/Dragon's Den style. Step by step photographic instructions of how to make a Santa from a sock filled with rice. I also have instructions for Sock Snowmen in my shop. Top tip use a plastic cup or dry disposable water bottle with the bottom cut out of it as a rice funnel. Working in pairs for this step is also easier.
