A Drag & Drop exercise for building up the electronic structure of atoms. After a short cartoon for building up an atom of calcium, students build up four atoms by drag and drop. Could be used projected on the whiteboard or by students individually at computers. Double click on the full atomic structure.html file and it will open in your browser. This is a variation of my ‘drag and drop functional group’ activity. In this case you drag the structural formula to the correct name of the functional group.
