Molnupiravir: exam practice.

Exam boards often take unknown substances and ask students to apply their understanding of chemistry to them. To provide practice answering this type of question, I am developing a series of worksheets with this type of question. The series is called Practicexamquest. Molnupiravir has recently been approved as an anti COVID drug, so is of topical interest. Comprises 7 questions over 2 sides.

I made a simple display of the atomic structure of various isotopes, with the emphasis on simplicity and clarity. Just because I wanted to. I also included it as keynote and powerpoint presentations.

I made a wacky interactive widget thingy to illustrate the gas laws. Change the property with the slider and it draws the graph. Just for fun really. A preview may be seen on my web site. Please note: in order to provide a rich interactive experience, my interactive resources are mini-web sites local to your computer. After unzipping, they comprise a folder containing the main .html file and another folder containing the graphic resources and my coding to make the resource work. Double click on the .html file and the resource will work. If, however , you move or delete any of the files from this hierarchy, the resource will not work. stdobbs.com ©D&D production

I needed a clean, scalable (vector)graphic of fleming’s left hand rule that I could freely use in my resources, so resorted to drawing my own. I thought I would share it. If anyone would like to use the editable SVG version or postscript or EPS etc, contact me.
