I made a very simple ‘fill in the gaps’ worksheet. It may be useful because it focuses on the adjectival and noun words in this topic.

An alternative to my cut and stick exercise. Double click on the .html file, and it will open in your browser. You can zoom it so it’s huge using the browser zoom controls. Drag the structures to the correct places, then get a reward. Please note: in order to provide a rich interactive experience, my drag & drop resources are mini-web sites local to your computer. After unzipping, they comprise a folder containing the main .html file and another folder containing the graphic resources and my coding to make the resource work. Double click on the .html file and the resource will work. If, however , you move or delete any of the files frome this hierarchy, the resource will not work.

A simple wordsearch on energy & electricity. Word searches help concentrate on scientific literacy and aid concentration. they are good summary activities and for revision. I have tried to make this attractive and efficacious in that it uses only one side of A4.

A simple simulation of the experiment. Unzip the file. Open the folder. Double click on ‘spring stretch version 4.html’ and it opens in your browser. Add the masses by clicking the buttons, and watch the spring stretch. Use a ruler to measure the extension. (The anomaly on the graph at 3N is probably due to a draught of warm air expanding the spring as a door was opened). Enjoy! A preview is availableon my web site. Water circuit analogy

In the past I have used a physical water circuit to explain to groups concepts such as potential difference and current. I wanted my own diagram of this, so produced this. Someone, somewhere might find it of use.

A simple cartoon with half equations. Electrode labels now correct! I have now added positive charges to the hydrogen atom cores/hydrogen ions. The you tube version adds a funky beat.
