Hi! I'm a secondary science teacher who's specialism is biology but teach all three sciences. I teach KS3 and 4 of all abilities and always teach from powerpoint. Every lesson I post in here I have planned myself and taught to at least one of my classes. Often I find that I am able to use the same powerpoint for various classes and just adapt my teaching and explanations to suit my class! Hopefully my lessons will cut your planning time! Please review them and let me know what you think of them

This is a lesson in the B4 - bioenergetics module for the AQA 2018 specification. This is a fully planned lesson with learning checkpoints, tasks, information and activities for students to do. I used it with a high/middle ability groups. Should be able to be adapted to any class with minimal effort. It looks at the factors that affect the rate of photosynthesis as well as the inverse square law. Should be done after looking at how light intensity affects the rate of photosynthesis.
