7 weeks of planning building up to a final self portrait for Reception but could be used in KS1 with more defined drawing results. 7 weeks worth of planning with learning objectives matching Development matters and cross curricular links. Whole class carpet activities and focus activities for smaller groups. The planning looks at different features of the face and builds upon drawing skills and ability to draw a final self portrait using the skills and techniques learnt over the 7 weeks. Hope you enjoy!
