Performance skills (Physical, Expressive & Technical) definitions game. Using the style and rules of the dominoes game; the aim to match up the cards to the next card. You will see each card has a key word and then a different definition. The definition on one card will match up with another dominoes card that has the corresponding key word. Which will then have another definition on it which will need to link to another key word on another. The performance skills are one document that all link up so should make a complete circle or square etc.

Students call out the matching icon on their top card and the card everyone is looking at. The game comes with instructions, for example: PLAY THIS WAY: Deal out all, but 1, of the cards to all players leaving one in the center of the playing area, with the pictures face up. Each player must then find the identical symbol between their card and the card in the center of the table (on the draw pile). If a player finds an identical symbol, they shout out the matching symbol and then they put down that card in the center, revealing a new card to be matched up. If your students struggle to access the mark schemes for all of the practical components in a table format, use these images to break it down for them.
Visual analogies have been used for each component to support student understanding and to make it accessible (especially for SEN, EAL and LA) students who struggle with pure text and numbers.
I have developed simple, yet effective ideas to support them in what they need to do to achieve a higher grade with examples.
This bundle includes both performance (Set phrases + Performance in a duet) and a NEW and UPDATED Choreography mark scheme categories of the mark scheme and what content they need to use, apply and demonstrate to be successful. It includes key information and how many marks each category it is out of. Print these off and get them to organise it in a way that suits them, as individual images, or a booklet etc.
