Drawing and naming straight lines in the form y = mx + c!

Everyone knows that when it comes to teaching straight line graphs there is so much more preparation that needs to be done! But hopefully this helps some people out.. Here is a ready to go lesson on how to draw and name straight lines in the form of y=mx+c! I used this particular lesson with a middle set year 10 as more of a recap, but I have also used the same activities with KS3. It has a full powerpoint with animated instructions on what to do, but also includes, 2 to a page worksheets, with axes already drawn on, for drawing and naming the lines. All you have to do is print! If you like my lessons or think I could do more to make them better, please comment and rate =]!

This includes: A lesson on converting between metric units and between imperial and metric units, with fun activity on metric units and fully differentiated and colour coded questions on imperial and metric units. A lesson on Perimeter and Area of rectangles, with extension work. A lesson on finding the area of compound shapes by addition and subtraction, and finding the area of triangles. A lesson on finding the area of parallelograms and trapeziums, with 4 self assessing card sorts, which students can choose from easy to hard questions on area of trapeziums. A lesson on consolidation of area, group quiz to finish the topic. Learning objective sheet with questions of each part of this topic with self assessment tick area which can be used as a homework or an activity in lesson. All lessons include: Fully differentiated questions with answers, Learning objectives with progress tick sheet, 5 a day starter, Fully visual explanations of where the formula for the area of each shape has come from! This bundle is completely ready to go and use with a class, but feel free to edit for your needs. If you like or think I could do more to make these resources better, please rate and comment! =]
