This is a set of 2 booklets, each containing numbers from 1 - 10. One has colored numbers and the other has bubble numbers that can be colored by students. Each booklet contains 12 pages: the title page with 11 additional pages. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. The colored version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation of the numbers. Both versions can be used for interactive notebook activities. 8 pages

Students research several areas associated with holidays and festivals celebrated in Spanish speaking countries. The areas are date/s, food, events, music and dance, location, religious celebrations, countries that celebrate the holiday, and history of the holiday. This is a fun investigative activity for students that can be completed in Spanish or English. 2. Students assemble a 4 x 4 bilingual Spanish/English vocabulary puzzle with common AR verbs. There are 21 different verbs used in the puzzle. Sample verbs are besar, cantar, caminar, mirar and buscar. Just photocopy enough for a class set (1 for every 2 students if working in pairs, or 1 per student if working alone), cut and fasten with a paper clip. Distribute to students and challenge them to reassemble the puzzles as quickly as possible. All words are listed alongside the puzzle in Spanish and English.
