Hello,
Here is a collection of 4 Devising Drama PowerPoints. They use the stimuli from the OCR Devising Drama Unit, and include GCSE Criteria that students can refer to. Each PowerPoint has 10 different stimuli and should take at least a term to complete, but can of course be edited.
It asks students to:
Reflect
Create
Answer Questions
Evaluate their work
I also use an exercise book alongside these to help students get their work into writing, but also to ensure they are fully prepared for the GCSE Specifications.
Tried and tested - students love them and enjoy using the stimuli to create Drama!
This has worked really well with my KS3 and GCSE students and ensures that they know all of the skills necessary to succeed in Drama lessons.
I have had many compliments on my work, so I hope you enjoy it too!
Thanks!
Here we have a very powerful and engaging assembly that I ran for all year groups throughout the school (Year 7 to 13) - it shows just how diverse the content is, and the fact it is suitable for all!
It covers some really important topics, and it is literally ready to go. Content includes:
Definition of Social Media
What do they post on Social Media?
Once it is out there… (once posted, it is out there for all to see)
The impact on others (suicide, depression, etc)
What is a troll (video)
Case Study - more information about a victim
Facts and statistics about a Study on Trolling
The impact on them (reputation, jobs, etc)
What the police say
GDPR
Caroline Flack - including videos
What to do if they see something potentially harmful
The assembly worked really well - it took roughly 30 minutes but could have taken longer if we had more time available.
Thanks!
Here we have an incredibly engaging and stimulating Scheme of Work based around world events and themes, which will engage students of all abilities.
The re are 6 lessons, but I teach each lesson over 2 lessons, because there are lots of tasks and development opportunities in the lessons. I have taught this to Year 9 (KS3) and Year 10 (KS4), both of which have engaged excellently.
The lesson topics are as follows:
Lesson 1 - 9/11 (The Falling Man Part 1)
Lesson 2 - 9/11 (The Falling Man Part 2)
Lesson 3 - 9/11 (final phone calls)
Lesson 4 - The NHS / Pandemic
Lesson 5 - Climate Change
Lesson 6 - Knife Crime
All resources are included and the lessons are ready to teach, though you may want to tweak for your own classes/school.
A ready to use Safeguarding Training / CPD for staff.
The focus is on:
Online Safety
Sexual Harassment
Sexual Abuse
Staff engaged positively and have a good knowledge of these areas.
Here we have a workbook, based around the theme of Bullying. It has been created for students to complete if they have been involved in an incident of this nature, helping them to reflect on their behaviour and make more positive choices moving forward.
It has been a very successful tool at my school, when students complete this alongside a member of the Pastoral or Safeguarding Team.
An excellent resource, which is ready to go. However it will come in Word format so you can add your own school logo or make any necessary tweaks/amendments.

Hi all,
I have spent a long time developing and creating my Schemes of Work, so thought some other people may want to try these too.
The pack contains 6 Schemes of Work to cover the whole of Year 7:
Introduction to Drama in Year 7
Pantomime and Comedy
The Departure (devising)
Darkwood Manor
Evacuation
Jeff (topic themed)
The beauty of the PowerPoints is that anyone can teach from them, including non-specialists. I have had many compliments on my work, so I am sure you will love them!
Resources for particular lessons are also included, such as scripts and video clips that are accessible from the PPT.
Thanks!
Hi,
This is a Scheme of Work that focuses on Drama Practitioners. It is a whopping 178 slides long with stacks of activities and tasks. It contains 15 different lessons, but these will be taught over a few lessons each, so should take up a whole term.
This covers:
Antonin Artaud
Stephen Berkoff
Bertolt Brecht
I have had many compliments for my work, so I hope you enjoy it too!
Thanks!
Ready to use safeguarding CPD based on the theme of County Lines. Interactive with scenarios and question and answer. Having run this with staff, it takes around 45 minutes.
An assembly on the theme of ‘Acts of Kindness’. The assembly has easy to understand information, but will need some amending on a couple of slides where you talk about your specific school and your influences growing up.
This went down well with students, and the following week we launched the ‘Kindness Card’.
A ready to use CPD session for staff based on the topic of ‘Mental Health’. This is relevant and informative, and went down very well with the staff I delivered it to.
