These learning activities also double as STEM lessons! When we are finished learning about how the Ancient Egyptians built pyramids, I have my students bring in tissue/shoe boxes. Then in groups, the students go through the process of building a pyramid: drawing one, making a model with blocks and finally building their own pyramid with shoe/tissue boxes. I use the smaller spinners for students to cut out and place in their Math notebooks for early finishers. To fasten the arrow to the spinner, use a brad or a paper clip.
