A is a simple version to hand out to students B is a more detailed version for staff or to support students C - is an alternative sheet similar to A&B but with a set framework This home learning activity is given so that students can see the varied differences in visual imagery given to Jack the Ripper. This is an interesting interpretive activity. This home learning activity might also engage the students as they can explore Jack through their favourite form of media.

The Places have basic starting with or ending with to distinguish whether they are Roman, Viking, Saxon or Norman. Great for post-1066 lesson or learning about local geography. Use a local or national map. The Words tasks are quite simple and show the students how many words in English are actually from elsewhere.
