There are four basic pyramids to a sheet. This allows you to have four topics that you break down from 1 idea into 3 sections and then into nine events or areas.
This simple collection of images and PPT outlines how you can have a fun lesson with your class or a nice homework assignment from which they can approach History in a creative manner.
We know that organising topics into themes and key points can be very helpful when learning or revising a topic.
The website allows for a title and between one to six points to be generated into a simple chalkboard image. Save those images in folders and invoke your memories with a classroom setting to put you in the learning frame of mind.

PESCM IT is a simple historical knowledge game which gives you an event to examine through the prism of PESCM. PESCM stands for Political, Economic, Social/Cultural and Military.
You simply state facts or opinions under the prism of PESCM and see if they match those given on the back of the card.
The more difficult your analysis the more points you gain.
PESCM is a great way to break down an event and look at different aspects of it. This can stimulate analytical thought along side factual recall. Both are needed to argue your opinion with the new History GCSE.
PESCM IT! Packs on a wide variety of specific topic events such as Elizabethan England are available.
