Here is a full lesson on practical magnet experiment: making magnetic slime. Aimed at KS3 but can be adapted to KS2 by deleting the more detailed slides. It includes information about what magnets are, properties of magnets, practical applications of magnets. Also includes a summary quiz for students to complete and a task to do in notebooks after the practical experiment. It’s such a fun way to help students consolidate information about magnets.
