I created this for KS5 open evening. Match up the authors picture with the name. Writers who are mostly set for KS5 or KS4.

Looking at adverts from the Victorian era from families looking for a governess. Students are to design their own ‘governess needed’ advert. Quotes from Lady Ingram regarding Jane. Part of a Year 7 SOW.

Can be used for starters, verbal or written four lots of vocabulary from chapters 1-5 with cloze exercises for students to demonstrate understanding of the words they have looked up. The cloze exercises can be set for homework as well.
