This is a single sheet activity where you select a range of trailers and then the students answer questions about them. They have to name the film, genre, give 3 examples of Settings, Characters and Events in the film trailer. It is design to make students think about design aspects of film. This is a media studies lesson but could also be used for general lessons. It’s also a fun to watch trailers! PLEASE LEAVE A REVIEW IF YOU DOWNLOAD THIS - THANKS

This is a log to be filled in while watching a film. It is designed to show that the young learners can identify the settings and events in a film, and can be used as evidence for assessment. This is really a media studies sheet but can be used as a general activity.

Quiz - Name the Film Character and Prop Quiz

(0)
This quiz features 24 stills of films. The students have to name the character and a prop they use in the film. It takes between 30 to 45 minutes to complete depending on how long you discuss at end. This does include a reading out the answers section (which is at the rear of the document) and then scoring. I find my students love these and it breaks up the standard lessons. I throw one of these in after a hard two or three weeks on the same subject.
