So this renewable resource can be used every single day without the need to search endlessly for resources or spend time writing one up on the board every day. It contains: a 2-digit x 2-digit multiplication. a 4-digit by 4-digit addition. a 5-digit x 4-digit subtraction. a 5-digit x 1-digit division. an addition problem of fractions with the same denominator. a subtraction problem of fractions with the same denominator. Simply hit F9 to get a new set of calculations. Answers can be found on the other sheet- not matter how often the numbers change. Cheap for the time it will save.

So, this is a great resource. If you are into Kagan style teaching or general paired work then this resource will save you an awful lot of time and potential cutting and chopping of paper. It is 80 questions (10 lots of 8) that have been split down the middle into an A and B section. One great way of using the resource is to print and fold down the middle. In turns, Student A will talk through the calculation process to the other child and they will both agree on the answer. Then they will flip the paper over and Student B will do the same. Great for less confident or less able children to listen and learn form a more confident, more able student and great for cooperative learning. All answers are provided at the end.

This is a handy, reusable resource that makes a great lesson starter. It has four questions (addition, subtraction, multiplication (-digit by 2-digit) and division) that can be recalculated by hitting F9. Answers are on the other sheet- no matter the numbers used! Use this over and over to cement written methods without seaching everyday for resources. For a few quid, it’s a steal!
