This is a 40 mark assessment that covers the tectonic hazards section of the new AQA GCSE course. It should last an hour. The exam questions follow the new assessment style but I have simplified the multi- choice questions to reduce photocopying costs. A 9 mark 'assess' extended response question is included to allow access to the highest grades. Also included is a full mark scheme.

Also included are worksheets that cover the 3 cell model formation and how high and low pressure is linked to climate at the equator, the deserts and the UK. Key concepts covered are: the 3 cell model, air pressure, surface winds, convection and the Coriolis effect. This work was covered over two 60 minute lessons.
