Pride and Prejudice Movie Guide | Worksheet | Questions | Google Classroom (PG - 2005) is a great way to wrap up a literature unit on the famous classic novel by Jane Austen. Compare and contrast Mr. Darcy, Mr. Bingley and Mr. Wickham. Identify how Elizabeth is different than the average girl in her time. Discuss how the director creates intimacy between Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth as they stiffly and formally dance. Explore how flirting in the 1800s compares to today. Finally, encourage students to identify and learn from the underlying beliefs and character traits demonstrated throughout Pride & Prejudice that are rare in this day and age.
This resource consists of 12 high-level, short answer and essay questions that will do more than just ask your students to regurgitate information.

This Gandhi Movie Guide (PG - 1982) challenges students to analyze the movement that Gandhi led and the opposition that he faced. Encourage students to discuss his strategies of peaceful, non-violent protest and think critically about why they are effective. Encourage critical thinking as students reflect on the moral dilemmas faced by Gandhi and his associates, such as the ethical implications of violence versus nonviolence and the struggle for self-determination. Reflect on how Gandhi’s movement might unfold in today’s digital age, and finally explore how Gandhi’s strategies might be used to make injustice visible in the modern world.
