A homework pack that provides example questions for Section A, Section B and Section C from the OCR AS Level Core Studies exam. Covering all 10 of the AS level Core Studies for the new OCR Specification. A multiple choice quiz featuring seven rounds, with a bonus round after each. To run this quiz, I ask students to work in teams and give 20 points (sweets) as a starting currency. Then for each multiple choice round, the team with the most correct answers gets 4 more, second most gets 3 more etc. After each multiple choice round (other than the final round) is a bonus round. Select a team at random to do the bonus round by picking a letter from the slide. Uncover the question/instruction underneath by deleting the letter and removing the shading from the cell. Students answer that question and are given 3 sweets for every mark they get. Highly engaging (but very active for you!) (Answers included in separate document). Takes about 2 hours
A pack outlining the debates in OCR Psychology, with strengths and weaknesses for each debate. I use this at the beginning of term as a reading task, and then to refer back to when evaluating each core study.
