Cuantos Anos Tienes Code Breaker is a fun and engaging activity students can complete using their sentence builders (but they are not needed!). I love code breakers because they are great for introducing new vocabulary or going over old vocabulary but this game also helps with translation.
Includes:
2 different activities
1 activity for sentence builder
1 activity can be used with sentence builder but doesnt have to be
The first activity is a simple “Can you find activity”. Students use their sentence builders to translate the sentences that are given to them from Spanish into English.
The second activity students are given the vocabulary but each word/phrase has been assigned a number. For task 1, they are given 4 sets of numbers and need to write the sentences in Spanish. Task 2 is simple, they translate the answers from set 1 into English. And finally for Task 3 they need to translate one longer sentence to Spanish.
I hope these activities are fun for you, if they are please consider leaving a review.
Happy teaching,

I have also introduced a section I like to call “Cool Kid Phrase”. This phrase is a sentence they could use to really show off what they know. See image 2 for reference.
