Debate: Pupils will engage in a class debate, exploring whether the Iron Man is a hero or a threat, practising persuasive speaking and writing techniques.
Letter Writing: Pupils will take on the role of a character from the story, writing a letter to the authorities or another character to express their viewpoint about the Iron Man.
Menu: In a creative twist, pupils will design a menu for the Iron Man, inspired by his unusual eating habits, incorporating imaginative ideas and humour.

They will also refine their sentence structure by incorporating subordination (e.g., “although,” “because,” “if”) and coordination (e.g., “and,” “but,” “so”) to create complex and compound sentences.
In Week 2, lessons will include a detailed exploration of the characters and settings, guiding students to describe them vividly.
