Unhappy with having to wade through numerous educational websites containing irrelevant and largely US-oriented material, head of IT Steve Mooresdrew up his own list of useful links relevant to UK secondary school teachers and pupils. With help from colleagues and pupils, the list becomean Intranet, and later an Internet site (www.edu-net.org.uk).

“Once you have found a good site, persuade your head of IT to create a link to it off your school site,” Steve says. “You get your own set of links which are relevant to your teachers and your pupils, and which can be accessed at school or home.”
