As always, the Lead Practitioner never fails to amaze me. His work is extremely adaptable and highly differentiated. The Unseen Unit has enough information to guide them, but not enough where it spoon feeds students up to the exam. Thank you.

That is such a lovely review, it's made my morning. Thank you! I'm currently going through the process of updating and revamping all my resources so that they contain even more detail, and the unseen poetry lessons will be updated before the end of the summer term. You should get an email when anything new is uploaded, but you will be able to download them all for free. Thanks again for taking the time out to write your review :)

Range of poems and poem comparisons are useful but PowerPoints lack a range of activities and approaches to Unseen Poetry. <br />

Hi, thanks for your feedback. I think 3 stars is quite harsh given the models, scaffolds, knowledge organiser and differentiated activities, and the focus on the lessons is being able to build a student's independent analytical skills and be able to approach any poem following a number of steps to help them. I don't believe in spoonfeeding unseen poems because students don't get that in the exams. I'd appreciate it if you could provide some more detailed feedback to info@englishgcse.co.uk as I'm not quite sure what you mean in your original review. Thank you.
