If you are looking for a fun approach to teach your beginners French the alphabet, this resource is the right one for you. We all know that our students learn best when they work collaboratively and when they have fun. So I have designed this resource with these two features in mind: Collaboration and fun stuff!!

The other good thing about this playing cards resource is that you will be able to use it over and over again if you laminate the cards.

So here are the objectives of the playing card games:

Learning the alphabet
Identifying and reading letters and words
Using the sign language to learn the alphabet
Here’s what you get:

  • 52 playing cards from a to z

  • 6 ideas of games: Every game is explained step-by-step so that you can vary the learning in your class easily

  • 1 DIY box for the game: You just need to print it off and follow the lines!

(some designs for your box/cards as an extra)

All you will need is a good pair of scissors, and ideally a laminator and cardboard for the box.

Have fun!
