Home Alone Media unit of work

This is a booklet designed for the term before Christams. It is a short yet fun media unit which explores the Christmas film, ‘Home Alone.’ The resource includes exercises on understanding the film plot, exploring the charcaters, in particualr Kevin and the mnor characters: Buzz, Frank and Old Man marley.

Included are activities on sound in film, camera angles and many opoortunities for Talking and Listening activities.

This resource could be used for a lower ability section as the activities are designed to be accessible to all learners. The learnign activities include comprehension questions on charcater, cloze exercises for exploring plot and talking and listenign activites.
