Students learn about controlling relationships with a poem about Ava who isn’t able to get away from a girl who is controlling, the signs of controlling behaviour, and what to do if you are being controlled. Students learn about domestic abuse, controlling and coercive behaviour, the feelings of a victim of abuse and what to do if you are in an abusive relationship.
