French PAST Tenses: Verbes au Passé Composé avec ETRE, version Halloween!

(0)
It includes a PPT with 48 slides introducing all of the verbs that use the auxiliary "ETRE" in the past tense (passé-composé) with the infinitive, the past participle, clear examples of sentences for each verb. It also highlights the few verbs that can actually use both ETRE or AVOIR in the past tense according to their meaning. The whole presentation is made very interactive for the students to resolve an "Acrostiche" (mnemonic strategy) that will help them remember the list of verbs. It also comes with 2 innovative posters showing the verbs using ETRE and the ones using both ETRE ou AVOIR. Finally, you will also find a worksheet for the students to fill up as you go through the slides.

You will find: - A story "Rencontre avec une sorcière" (Meeting a witch)- using the past tenses (passé-composé et imparfait). The story is being read twice, very clearly, by a French native speaker. It is also available written on a worksheet with questions and on a PowerPoint presentation (.ppt). It includes the whole analysis of the text (setting, characters, tenses, halloween vocabulary about a witch). As an extra, you will find a link to Geography as the story is happening somewhere special, in a French speaking country... There is also a written task at the end that is clearly set with strategies given on how to complete it best. Every single task is available on audio.

It includes a revision of numbers 1 to 10, the verb "Avoir" (to have) in the present tense (all the forms- singular and plural). The mp4 video has been recorded in French by a French native speaker, leaving a gap to allow students to repeat, although the teacher can just pause the video whenever it is necessary. Objectives: Students will learn how to make French jokes using the question "Quel est le comble de/ du...?" and answers "C'est de +infinitive". There is a worksheets with activities and answers are given separately.

Complete bilingual Tutorial to learn to teach French to toddlers

(0)
This complete tutorial is designed for educators who want to learn how to teach French to Toddlers, through a range of structured lessons. It includes the link to a 20 minutes tutorial video helping all teachers (even complete French beginners) to teach French to children the best way and develop bilingualism. It comes with a printable teacher's guide. It includes a video of the story, designed as a kind of e-book, together with its printable storybook. There is also another video to introduce the prepositions (behind, in front of, under and above) together with the vocabulary (star, moon and sun). It comes with over 12 back-to-back flashcards to use with a centre of activity on topology (with 4 levels of games- using 1 to 4 new key prepositions). The game is available to print with clear instructions. You will also find printable craft activities to make and act out the story. Finally, I have also added a bilingual Questions/ Answers on early science facts about the stars, the moon and the sun. There are many ideas given on how to precisely extend and differentiate the students learning skills. Learning Objectives: In this tutorial, you will learn how to introduce simple sentences and expressions commonly used by French toddlers. They like repetitive games. Playing "Hide and Seek" help them make a psychological link between being present and absent, himself/ herself and others. Toddlers build a big part of their life through imitation and games. It also develops their creativity. This is why I have build this patterned story. I have also included few words of early science (Earth, star, moon, sun, sky, day, night) and prepositions (behind, in front, under, above, in). I recommend to use this resource preferably with toddlers and young children up to the age of 7. If you feel anything is missing to be entirely satisfied, I will gladly design and add whatever is necessary.
