CURRICULUM LEADER: GEOGRAPHY  ( TLR 2B )

(FULL TIME, PERMANENT)

We are looking for a Geography subject specialist to assist in leading a skilled team and to teach KS3, GCSE and A level Geography. The successful candidate will possess the skills and attributes needed to successfully support and challenge the Geography team. Please see the attached description of the department for further information.

Geography is a successful subject. We have over 100 students in Yr11 and 80 in Yr10. We are one of the most popular Ebacc subjects in Key Stage Four.

The subject teams have designed their own respective curriculums for KS3 following the sequence of knowledge and skills they believe to be essential for students as they develop through the years. We've also continued to adapt our behaviour policy with the motto 'Our Way…By Design' showing that shared values, defined habits, consistent routines and clear boundaries are the bedrock of a successful school. Another thing about us: we're not in to quick fixes or superficial tweaks; we're in it for sustainable excellence. Our vision outlines an ongoing process of continuous improvement and an adaptive, restless drive for the implementation of best practice grounded in educational research.
