Hours of work: 37 hours per week/ Term time plus one week for inset days

Contract: Permanent

Our Design Technology curriculum centres around both food and cyber craft. Designing cuisine and using IT to design and develop products for example through CAD and laser printing.


As a Technician at All Saints’ Academy you will be part of a dynamic team who are passionate about Academy improvement. All Saints’ Academy are looking to appoint a highly motivated team player for the position. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to support food technology and digital technologies.


The Academy is looking for an enthusiastic individual to help with:

•            Preparing and clearing away materials, equipment and ingredients for food technology

•            Assisting teaching staff with demonstration lessons and practical’s

•            Making arrangements for maintenance and repair services to equipment

•            Assisting in the maintenance of health and safety standards

•            Contribute to the planning, development and organisation of systems/procedures/policies

•            Ordering, receiving and accounting for new stock and equipment

All Saints’ Academy Cheltenham is a mainstream secondary state school with sixth-form, catering for pupils aged 11-19. The school opened in September 2011 and is a Church of England academy for the whole community, welcoming children of all faiths and none.

It is sponsored by the Anglican Diocese of Gloucester. All Saints’ Academy Cheltenham offers 900 places for pupils aged 11-16, and 220 places for sixth-formers who wish to study both academic and vocational courses.
