Job overview

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Premises Officer to join our successful school. This post can be a full-time or part-time position or on a freelance basis.

Platanos College is an outstanding and ambitious school and part of the Platanos Trust. We have a new state-of-the-art building with superb ICT facilities. It is just the place for talented, ambitious individuals to develop their career.

The ideal candidate will have the knowledge or experience to coordinate various aspects of facilities management, such as preventative maintenance, health and safety and compliance. The candidate will have a hands-on work ethic, a fast learner, willing to learn and to take on responsibilities to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the school.

About Platanos College

Platanos College is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form situated in South London. It is an academy state school supported by the Platanos Trust, a multi-academy trust set up with the intention of raising standards and preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century. The school will provide 1,000 places for secondary pupils aged 11-19, when fully subscribed.

An academy converter, Platanos College reopened in February 2011. It was the first school in the Platanos Trust.
