<p>This resaource consiststs of a power point which covers the main reasons that the Battle of Britain was won. It uses the acrronym TAIL: Technology, Accident, Intelligence and Location to help pupils develop an understanding of the reason for the RAF’s victory. There is also a table and an opportunity to do some extended letter. There is also a starter activity and a plenary.</p>

<p>This assessment allows teachers to assess and provide feedback quickly. It focuses on motte and bailey castles and life in the medieval village. The questions are based on AQA question stems and there are writing frames, exemplar answer, feedback/marking sheet which allows you to quickly provide feedback and set a task for pupils to improve their work by completing an improvement tasks. SPAG improvement suggestions are also provided as is a score tick box. There is also a written feedback box provided which can either be used or deleted if you want to speed up the marking process further.</p>
<p>This lesson guides pupils through Hitler’s early life as a child and as a homeless young man and failed artist. It also covers his art and his time as a soldier in World War 1. This lesson includes comments from Hitler’s teachers and peers as well as extracts from his own letters and self portrait. It can work well as a stand alone lesson or as an introduction to Nazi Germany. The lesson allows pupils to build up a picture of Young Hitler via information on power point slides. However it could also be used as a scavenger hunt, market place or pair work. It also has a writing frame for LA pupils who can create an overview of Hitler in World War 1.</p>

This lesson works straight from the box and includes group activity information sheets, information collection and analysis sheets, writing frames, model answer and peer marking exercise. The lesson conforms to both the TEEP and Build/Share/Practice models and aims to ensure outstanding progress is made through a combination of collaborative learning, presentation and answer construction techniques.
