Teach basic formation with the reference sheets, both upper and lower case.
Teach joining with the ref posters.
Check formation accuracy with the test sheets.
Different f and k formation is catered for.

learn to use the conjunctions - but and so because - using this bundle of resources. cut out and move the clauses to explore different combinations. Two different handwriting fonts catered for so there’s really 3 different sets of work here.

This tried and tested recipe makes two 30g biscuits, allowing the children to make their very own mix, not having to share it with anyone. You only need the ingredients, a small bowl and some scales. And an oven of course! It really is perfect for all ages. I have used this for years - most children from year 1 upwards can make it independently after the first try. Word document included so you can tweak it if you like.

For a chocolate flavour, just substitute 5g of flour for cocoa.

Enjoy!

Time words, clocks to the hour and half hour, blank clocks, challenge sheets, plus o-clock cards for class discussion and sequencing. Lots of resources, some in Word so you can manipulate them into whatever you need.

Lots of dab-the-number activities; we love doing this with cotton buds and paint. Place value paper, an activity mat to help you unpick what a number really means, different levels of number cards. Lots of things!

More number lines than you will EVER need, in a Word document so you can manipulate them into whatever you need! Absolute bargain. Plus lots of addition and subtraction sheets I’ve made using many of those number lines. Numicon number line for your classroom wall.

Ridiculously useful collection of numbers. As words, numerals, 100 square. Also number bingo, greater and less than including crocodiles, plus magic square and triangle masters.

Lots of lovely resources:
subitising pics up to 10, different sets of representations, natural repeating patterns, ten frames. Lots uploaded as Word docs as well as PDFs so you can manipulate the resources into whatever you need.

These are tickets we use in my class every day when writing to allow the teacher/TA to assess each individual piece of writing quickly and consistently. We have evolved them over several years.

The first 3 pages are for EYFS, taken from Development Matters and the Statutory Framework. They are made for the adult to mark, adding notes as needed. These tickets allow for a massive amount of information to be recorded in seconds.

The 4th page is taken from the Y1 end of year expectations (plus a few extras) which you can stick at the top of each page of work they do. I highlight a line over each criteria 1, 2, or 3 times to reflect beginning, developing or secure. (“Say my sentence” is added in there from EYFS so they always can do at least one thing.) I also use this to circle a target on for their next piece of work - the children can access this entire system easily so it’s a really efficient way of doing it.

5 different, lovely measuring sheets with every animal sized exactly to the nearest whole cm. All you have to do is print them on A3 or A4, according to their file name. A really fun way to get children measuring. These could be sent as homework, done in class as printed sheets or,my favourite, laminate them and hide them around the room so the children have a treasure hunt. If you label them A B C etc then the children can make their own record sheet (see the handwriting practise sneaking in there?!) and it’s easy to mark.

I also use them as challenges. For example:

Can you find a broom longer than 5cm?

Can you find a boat between 6 and 10 cm?

Can you choose 4 dragons and put them in size order?

So many possibilities. My class love these every year!

These certificates cover counting, doubling/halving, number bonds, all times tables and different levels of telling the time. Our children love getting these in assembly and it’s a lovely way to communicate your pupils’ achievements home.

Lots of activities to do with money, particularly suited to a year one classroom. Little price tags for lucky dip questions, at several different levels. Two challenge sheets for playing shop - so the children can challenge themselves in their play. Spending multiples of a coin. Making different amounts. Making equivalent amounts.

A great way to sequence the alphabet. 3 levels of differentiation already done for you.

Really useful test sheets for finding out whether the children can write upper or lower case letters or both. You can re-use these time after time.

With larger and smaller versions, this is a great resource to print, cut out and fold up to see where the letters go and how the apostrophes for contraction actually works. I’ve always found this to be a great hit with year 1!

A lovely range of activities for Reception, year 1, some year 2 children. Work on number bonds, + - questions, lucky dip questions, blank strip for introducing bar modelling. Lots of differentiation.
