Mein neues Handy song longer worksheet

I have added to the fantastic existing resource already uploaded by another user. Before we listen to the song the students will watch the video without sound to give them an idea about the vocabulary they will be hearing. They will then revise this vocab prior to competing the gapfill.

Intro to jobs and what people do

(4)
This is designed to be used to enable pupils to talk about what activities people do in different jobs. They can also revise the present tense. Having completed this activity, they will then describe what certain jobs do and their partner will have to guess what job it is. This therefore links the jobs vocab with useful broader vocabulary and verbs. The video link is on the answer sheet.

Was ist eine Droge?

By cutting out the 9 drugs, the pupils should individually arrange them in a 'diamond 9&' with the most &';dangerous' at the top, the least &'dangerous&'; at the bottom. From this, you can start a great discussion about what a drug is, is a drug more dangerous if it is easily obtainable/deadly after one use etc. The text and vocab questions (not particularly exciting activities!!) are then useful to build up pupil's core vocabulary.

French literature- authorial devices and key vocabulary list (No et moi)

This is a list of the authorial devices and key vocabulary needed to analyse the novel No et moi. Much of the vocab is general and would be useful in the study of other works of literature. I use this for myself but I also give the pupils vocab test with it, to help them internalise the vocab and then use it in their essays.

Was bedeutet Ostern fuer Sie?

Pupils listen and watch people being asked what Easter means to them. They put the responses in order. I plan to use this to start off a discussion about how Easter is celebrated and also to compare and contrast other festivals in the year.
