This is the third lesson in a sequence of lessons on Apartheid. It is aimed at S3/Year 9.
In this lesson students learn about the eventual election of the National Party and the following implementation of apartheid policy. Students will then complete a table task on the apartheid laws, and must evaluate their impact. They then complete an empathy task before being introduced to the topic of Bantustans and a mapping activity. Students then learn about forced removals before completing a National 5 level source question as preparation for their senior studies.
Note: All funds raised from proceeds of these resource sales will be going towards covering costs of my placement with GLP Scotland in summer 2018 where I will be travelling to Rwanda to work alongside Rwandan educators to improve educational opportunities in Rwanda!
