Connect - Students to complete calculation on their own and come up with suggestions
Activate - Students to identify the difference between inflows and outflows. they will then be provided a cash flow forecast template with some figures already populated. They need to then work out how they were calculated before discussing it as a group.
Demonstrate: Students to complete the remaining figures of the cash flow forecast and teacher to go through the answers as a class. Based on this exercise, they then come up with their own definition as well as interpret what is good/bad about this financial statement. Students develop their evaluation skills by coming up with recommendations, explaining why they would work and what the business would need to consider
