You can use these images as cards to print off and then students arrange into different stages of classification. Start with the Kingdoms.
Then select the Animals.
Organise animals into vertebrates and invertebrates.
Select vertebrates.
Organise vertebrates to mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians.
Select mammals.
Ask them to organise cats and not cats.
You can then talk about individual species.
