Pricing Strategies and the material is covered over two lessons worth of materials. It considers the different types of pricing strategy (cost plus, competitive, penetration, price skimming, psychological and predatory), the factors that determine pricing strategies (PED, differentiation, competition, branding, costs and the product life cycle) and finishes with a look at how pricing changes to reflect social trends. The slides contain activities with suggested answers including the Quick Fire Five and a 10 mark practice question for both lessons.
