A template of a teacher devised assessment (TDA) for Entry Level Science. It can be delivered to year 10 or 11 students either as part of a stand alone course or as a differentiated task for those in a GCSE Science group who struggle to achieve. This is not an official AQA resource but is based on materials that have been extensively trialed by the author on previous courses. This is aimed at AQA 5960 single and double award for teaching from September 2016 and First examination in 2018.
The file TDA-Component1-Caffeine.doc is aimed at the Human Biology Component 1. Students can achieve in all five skill areas at each of Entry 1, 2, and 3. The resource has teacher notes and instructions, student response sheets, assessment guidance and forms as well as some sample data.
