A new lesson for 2024 which focuses on the stigma surrounding mental health, what we mean by ‘stigma’, why some demographics face more stigma than others and how this links to the language we use. Students will investigate why stigma has surrounded mental health for thousands of years and what has been done about this (and what still needs to be done) in modern times. Includes creative tasks, anaysis and clip tasks, literacy-based tasks, match-up taks and more. All editable, most suitable for UKS3 or KS4.
